Experience Summary: I have a PhD and Masters in Chemistry, and have taught courses both at the undergraduate and graduate level. I am an expert in organic, analytical and geochemistry, with experiencing teaching at all levels in those subjects. Since I am originally from the UK, I have a solid background in all aspects of chemistry, so am able to tutor students in foundation courses as well. Through my research, I have gathered extensive experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite, and am able to help students in this field. Teaching Style: I have found through my 6 years of teaching students, that flexibility is a key component. Explaining a difficult concept to a student should be customized to each individual students' needs. I encourage students to always ask questions even if they think they are stupid. Everyone has to ask those questions at some point in their career! One of the most important goals of my teaching is to help the student grasp the concept of the subject, to help them apply that knowledge throughout their course. I often find that students blankly learn concepts without truly understanding them and as a result struggle to apply them later. I love to teach, and genuinely want to use my knowledge to help others. I am a logical, thoughtful person, who is happy to explain the same concept to students as many times as necessary.
